Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Job Snapper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and Job Snapper.

2. Description of service

Job Snapper is a web-based application that helps UK tradespeople create job sheets, generate quotes, manage bookings, send invoices and track payments. Features may change over time as we add, remove or improve functionality.

3. Account registration

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, phishing emails or unsolicited marketing
• Upload illegal, defamatory, obscene or infringing content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems
• Interfere with the proper working of the Service
• Use the Service in a way that could harm minors
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or extract source code
• Resell, lease or sublicense the Service without written permission

5. Customer data

You are the data controller for the personal data of your customers that you enter into Job Snapper (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.). You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process this data and for complying with your own data protection obligations. We act as a data processor on your behalf for this data.

6. Intellectual property

Job Snapper and all related software, designs, logos and content are our property or licensed to us. You retain ownership of the data you input. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our consent.

7. Third-party integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services such as Xero. Your use of these integrations is subject to the third party's terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or security of third-party services.

8. Service availability

Job Snapper is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will give reasonable notice where possible.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to your failure to back up
• Errors in quotes, invoices or calculations — you must verify all figures before sending
• Actions or omissions of your customers or third-party services
• Financial, tax or legal advice — consult a professional where needed

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 if you have paid nothing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or data loss, even if advised of the possibility.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the app settings. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms or if required by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at jobsnapper.co.uk/terms. Material changes will be notified by email or through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
